Magical Teacup Tree

If you chose an outdoor venue, then you can hang some old teacups as tree decor. Bonus points if you live in Morgantown, WV because you have plenty of outdoor venue options. Don’t have enough unused teacups? Go to your nearest thrift store and grab some cheap teacups. That way you won’t have to worry about breaking them. Don’t worry if the teacups aren’t the same color or design. The more colors and designs you have, the better your teacup tree looks. Use ribbons of different hues and textures to add character to your decor. You can even give the teacups as souvenirs for guests to take home.

Vibrant Teacup Piñata

Go look for videos on how to create your own teacup piñata. Although, if DIY is not for you then you can always order one. This can also double as a game prop. Fill the piñata with some vibrant confetti, yummy candies, and cute trinkets. Let the kids take turns in hitting the piñata while blindfolded. You can use this as an ice breaker and have it at the start of the party. This is also suitable if you have little boys joining the party. That way they won’t feel left out.

 Fancy Tea Tray

Decorate a tray with double teacups filled with cupcakes or large flowers. Add some delectable pastries around it or any treat that will make it look tempting.

Alternative:

Instead of using cupcakes, you may also use donuts, cookies, or bonbons. You can also make the treats yourself to save money. There are many easy recipes online that you can try. However, store-bought donuts and cookies are also great alternatives. The key is to get the freshest pastries and cakes that you can find.

Flower Filled Teapots

Getting some fresh flowers for your decor is always an excellent idea. It not only adds fragrance but it also makes the venue come alive. Choose colorful blooms such as sunflowers or daisies. You can even use flowers from your own garden. If you can’t get fresh flowers, then opt for vibrant paper flowers instead. Enhance the tea party vibe and use pretty teapots instead of vases. It’s also a great way to recycle those old teapots in your cupboard.
